The Eden Project Strapline
'Transformation: it's in our nature'
As part of the valuable experience I gained at Gendall Design working alongside the Creative Director, I was tasked with coming up with the new Eden Project strapline.

The strapline had to reflect the many facets of the charity: their commitment to raising awareness of green causes, bringing about positive change, transforming and making the best out of the landscape around us in a way that makes sense for man and nature, and the inherent desire they have to educate their visitors.

Park Head Cross Orthodontics
In collaboration with Smile Dental Marketing, I created the site copy for Park Head Cross Orthodontics a brand-new Dental practice in Glasgow.
​
As an orthodontics and facial aesthetics-based dental practice, it was important to showcase these different services, whilst accentuating the Park Head Cross ethos and brand voice at every touchpoint.
With an increasing number of dentists offering facial aesthetics treatment, a further challenge was building trust in the practice's collective accomplishments in dentistry, as a foundation for carrying out procedures like dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatment.

HookedOnMedia
Every copywriter needs valuable in-house agency experience before they go solo. Working for HookedOnMedia for 6 years helped me grow my arsenal of skills as a writer, creative and strategic thinker, and researcher.
During my time there, I worked on campaigns of all shapes and sizes and across a breadth of industries.

Notable successes include:

Forging relationships with clients including Cambridge Education Group and securing a contract for ongoing blog creation work for the company.

LDG: The Property Experts

Standing out within their industry as 'not your typical estate agents', the site copy for the new LDG website needed to reflect the care and attention they afford their clients, whether they're renting, selling or buying.

Working closely with the CEO and management team, I was able to bring their concierge-like and personalised property service to life through the power of the written word.

Print is still very much alive and kicking in the digital age, and in the healthcare industry, inspiring trust from the get-go is the key to obtaining new patients.
The main challenge of creating 23 Dental's brochure was merging informative copy about the practice and its membership schemes, with persuasive language to accentuate their values and commitment to delivering a patient-centred experience.
I incorporated QR codes to create a direct portal to their digital shop front and balanced their brand colours for a clean and sophisticated visual finish.

As a complete Cornwall fiend, creating snapshot bios for some of the county's most fascinating locations was a treat of an assignment.
​
It was a pleasure to be a part of We Are Cornwall's informative hub for locals and visitors alike. As well as being a centre point for discovering tips and best-kept secrets about what the county has to offer, a big part of the brief was for the site to also pay homage to the places and addresses (restaurants and attractions) that many people already know and love.
